12th Berlin Circus Festival

From 5 August 2026 to 16 August 2026, the 12th Berlin Circus Festival returns to Tempelhofer Feld. Over twelve days the festival presents a diverse selection of national and international contemporary circus productions in three tents and on an open-air stage.

Visitors can also enjoy concerts and a curated gastronomic programme.

The festival emphasises creativity, sustainability, and diversity within the circus arts. Early-bird ticket holders from the previous year participate in the curatorial process by voting on programme selections.

One confirmed production is Yes Person by Based on Kimberly, an experimental, physical, and satirical show described as a blend of stand-up circus and acrobatics. The duo, Inka and Imogen, incorporate themes of feminism, freedom of expression, and friendship into their work.

The festival’s open-air site at Tempelhofer Feld provides ample space for audiences and performers. Additional workshops and activities allow visitors to explore circus arts themselves.
