Clown Festival Berlin 2026

Every autumn Berlin becomes the capital of clowning when Festival Clown Berlin takes over Zirkus Mond and other venues. The 2026 edition runs from 2–4 October with an eclectic programme of shows, workshops and community jams.

Schedule highlights

Friday 2 Oct, 18:00–03:00 – opening night at Zirkus Mond featuring a clown cabaret and late-night DJ sets.

Saturday 3 Oct, 15:00–03:00 – day-long programme of performances, participatory games and an open stage at Zirkus Mond.

Sunday 4 Oct, 15:00–17:00 – closing ceremony and family-friendly shows at a venue to be announced.

The festival brings together clowns from across the world to share work, learn and celebrate. Workshops, interactive activities and installations invite audiences of all ages to discover the many faces of clowning.
