Lena Binski is a Latvian-born, Berlin-based artistic director and performer specialising in clowning and physical theatre, as well as developing and leading clown workshops both in Germany and abroad.
Lena has been a co-founder and member of the clown company Die Aussenseiter and the clown duo Theater Kavardak, creating and performing a diverse range of shows across Europe, Asia, and beyond. Through these collaborations, she has participated in numerous international theatre festivals, clown and film projects, continuously developing her practice.
One of Lena’s clown sketches was selected for and successfully performed in Cirque du Soleil’s program ZED (Tokyo, 2008–2011).
